Let there be Freedom..

Its been 60 Years !!.. still I dont realize anything has changed
The tyranny , The hereditary Kings, Inequality of all sorts
Still I hear a cry from far away , Let there be Freedom

Then some were Learned , Its still remains Some..
Some dreamt of Freedom , And I learnt , they got it
I never knew what freedom was, but for Hunger

The "White" Spoke English, and my culture was rediculed
And so was my Color, My Dress ,My God
Now, Even my Cry sounds English and in my dreams I Look white
Still I hear a cry from far away , Let there be Freedom

Many said I am poor, I earn less than a dollar, thats what they say
No ! , I am poor only Impoverished by uneducation, deprived of oppurtunuity
But I am Free to beg As I was 60 Years Before..
Still I hear a cry from far away , Let there be Freedom !!!

For me, I was always Free.... I am Free. ....

నేను కులాన్ని

ఆంధ్ర దేశంలో నేను ప్రతి ఇంటిలో వున్నాను, నా నేస్తాల్లో ఎందరో ప్రముఖులు వున్నారు. ఉద్యోగాల కొసము అమెరికా తదితర దేశాలకి వెళ్ళినా నన్ను మరిచిపొలేక పొయారు. హిందువు అని చెప్పుకునే వాడికి గీత లొ శ్రీ కృష్ణుడు చెప్పిన అందరూ సమానమే అన్న విషయము తెలియదు. అదే నా అస్థిత్వానికి మూలము. నేను చెడ్డదాన్ని కాదు, ఎలా అవుతాను ? ఎదైనా వృత్తి చెడ్డది అవ్వగలదా ? అప్పుడు నేను కాను. మరి నాతో స్నేహం లొ తప్పు ఏముంది ? ఖర్మ ఏమిటంటే నన్ను కొందరు గొప్పగా చూస్తారు, కాని అదే "నన్ను" వేరే వాడి స్నేహం లో తక్కువగా చూస్తారు, ఎందుకో ?

ఇందాక చెప్పాను కదా, వృత్తి గురించి , పూర్వము మనుషుల వృత్తి అనుసారం వారిని విభజించారు , మీకు తెలుసు కదా ఇది, ఇప్పుడు ఆ వృత్తుల ప్రకారము కాక పుట్టుక ప్రకారము విభజించారుట , వినటానికి కృష్ణుడి కే కంగారుగా వుంటుంది, ఇక నా సంగతి ఎందుకు లే !!

సంస్కృతము రాని బ్రాహ్మణుడు , వ్యాపారము చెయ్యని వైశ్యుడు , రాజ్యాలు లేని క్షత్రియులూ .. హాస్యాస్పదంగా వుంది..

ఇలాంటి దిక్కుమాలిన వాళ్ళందరూ నా పేరు పాడు చేస్తునారు, ఏమిటి దీనికి పరిష్కారం ?

దేశం పరువు నా వల్లే పొయిందంట :-(

కారణము మీరు , మీ అవివేకము . కనీసం నన్ను సమాధి చెయ్యండి , లేదా మీ అవివేకాన్ని అంతం చెయ్యండి.

Objetive C - Learn on Windows

At last I am convinced that I should now move to Mac platform. Although Java is my primary dev platform , I know that the real fun will be developing using Cocoa for Mac. Now.. I never even looked at a Objective C program and was curious to learn it before buying my MacBook Pro, used my friend Mr. Google for resources but few point to Objective C on Windows, I was disappointed, but some how managed to get all info. Here is the info. for enthusiasts out there

Basically there are two options to compile /run Objective C programs

1) Use a Linux distro like Ubuntu on Virtual PC and start compiling your programs using gcc (Yes ..it compiles Objective C)
2) Download GNUStep for Windows from http://www.gnustep.org/ ,to write Objective C in your favorite old Windows Box

Option 1 is fairly simple , but if you are a Linux hater Option #2 is also an easier one

1) On Installing GNUstep on your windows box, it will provide you with developer tools like gcc
2) You can use command line provided by Gnustep if you are familiar with *nix by writing programs in vi and compiling manually using gcc
3) You can even use your favorite editor like EditPlus or TextPad to write programs easily (I prefer this..for sake of keeping it simple)

To Compile and Run your programs, configure you editor to invoke the following on your source files (

  gcc *.m -lobjc -lm

Execute the resulting a.out file
